Direct Burial / Pave-Over Loops

Direct Burial Driveway Loops are typically used in gravel driveways or prior to the pouring of concrete or asphalt. In the case of concrete it is important that the loop be placed above the rebar. Pave over and high temperature traffic loops can be placed on existing asphalt or road base and have the fresh coating of asphalt applied directly over the loop. The size of the loop being used is determined by the width of the roadway. Typically a loop will be 4-6' shorter in width than the roadway itself eg: a 12' roadway would use a 8' wide loop. The shorter leg of the loop is typically 4' or 6' long and will affect the detection height and stability of the induction loop. The lead length is the distance from the loop to the gate operator itself and is available from 30' up to 300' in length. Our most commonly sold size is 4'x8' with a 50' lead. We carry direct burial and pave over induction loops made by Torxun, Reno AE, BD Loops, EMX, DoorKing, LiftMaster, Eagle, Linear, and MMTC. You can use the filters to narrow down your selection based on size and lead length.
