Positive Stops are used when an internal stop kit is not available for linear arm (ram arm) and underground (in-ground) gate operators. A must for critical alignment on gates that use hydraulic or mechanical gate operators.
Positive Stops provide fine adjustments and precise positioning on gates in the closed position. They are especially important on bi-parting gates allowing the gate leaves to be perfectly aligned when closed.
While critical for bi-parting gates, Positive Gate Stops are also useful on single gate installations and can be used in place of internal stops for accessibility and ease of adjustment. External stops may also be a more effective alternative as well.
Positive Stops also prevent the gate from swaying in windy conditions.
